Art Lesson: Kotinca Palma

Story of Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Papiermâché and acrylic project where we discuss the symbolism of the elements painted on the skulls and how they represent the life of the family member being honored.

Sister Kotinca (Ka-teen-ka) Palma lives in Ramona, California with her husband and five children. She has worked in marketing, technical writing, and public relations. She is an artist, photographer, author (books on marketing, genealogy, and children’s books), and teaches communication and writing at the college level.
